Fiber Solutions

ADC_FTTx_Overview

Our history and experience in microwave installation pushed us into fiber for backhauling the wireless network. This has been a key element of our success and a major driver in the growth of fiber expansion. The legacy manufactures of fiber connectivity offer long lead times. We now have engineering and manufacturing partners that allow us to offer our customers virtually any fiber solution at the best possible price.

We have successfully delivered product solutions to large carriers and regional fiber to the home network providers at factory direct pricing.

Our knowledge base of fiber and fiber optic components has allowed us to offer some key technical building blocks of the fiber network directly from the factories who develop and build them overseas.

Procure

Even the best designed network is useless if the client can’t justify its costs. Our partnerships with OEMS and various resellers, as well as our own stock of network elements allow us to provide very attractive pricing to our clients. For our integration clients, we can develop a Bill of Materials “BOM” for their specific project. From Microwave radios to antennas, cabinets to towers, kits and custom made cable assemblies, from fiber optics jumpers to power lugs, we stock new materials and used materials that allow expedited delivery to our clients at very reasonable pricing.

Parts and Pieces

Syterra Networks maintains a spare stock of mission critical elements for our Maintenance Program Participants. This stock includes Base Stations, Protection Devices, POE units, antennas, cabling and any other item that may be required immediately to restore your network after an outage.

We also offer to everyone our spare stock or our parts and pieces. We fabricate jumpers with PPC or Andrews connectors and typically have a supply stock premade and swept to Carrier specifications. Our stock typically will include jumpers from 3′ to 20′ ready for hand delivery or shipping. We also stock an inventory of other basic consumables.

Syterra Networks also stocks a supply of Outdoor Enclosures. Scroll down to see these items and associated pricing. These may change daily due to sale or new stock and cannot be guaranteed until receipt of a PO.

Deploy

Deploy-400-1

Our skilled installation teams specialize in backhaul deployments, MTSO installations including fiber installs/upgrades, RF projects and various other telecommunications installations. We have provided installation services for various national wireless carriers, national Telecommunications GC’s, Utility Companies. Our team focuses on safety, quality of work and the reliability of the deployment.

Why Multipoint?

Multipoint Deployments utilize a “Hub and Spoke” design, where one Base Station can connect to many Subscriber Units in its area of coverage. This “One to Many” or “Aggregated” approach offers maximum flexibility. Subscriber Units can be located at various positions on target buildings allowing easy connectivity to clients distribution point in that building. Additional Subscriber Units can be added as needed or existing units can be easily relocated to accommodate temporary facilities.

Multipoint Deployment Benefits

– Unlicensed spectrum which requires no FCC Approval or Filing

– Quick to deploy

– Low initial cost of deployment

– High Reliability

– No “Back Hoe” or Landscape Fades!

Design

Syterra utilizes Skyview to assist clients with their backhaul requirements. This unique tool provides the standard Microwave Path Reliability Study, but as well provides us the ability to send a Google Earth file to our client. With that file they can “Fly” their proposed path, viewing potential obstacles in a Google Earth format instead of the typical path profile that assumes an “estimated” tree or obstacle height. By flying the path we can zoom into those potential obstacles and see if they are valid or not with real world data. Email our Team for a sample path.
